Dr. Jason Harris believes in cultivating opportunities for youth to excel in leadership. He leads CLEAR Ed. in its mission to enrich and support youth by empowering personalized programs through choice, leadership, and resiliency for lifelong learning.
Dr. Harris is the founder and CEO of CLEAR Ed. CLEAR Ed. is a non-profit focused on developing leadership and literacy in youth. Dr. Harris currently leads the non-profit in the development of its Leadership Academy and Learning Center, literacy program and leadership camps and development.
Dr. Harris holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science, a master’s degree from Lamar University in Educational Administration, and a doctorate from Walden University in Educational Leadership. He has extensive leadership experience in the U.S military. During his 21 years serving in the Air Force, he led many teams and aviators during non-combat and combat missions. He served as a team leader, section leader, squadron leader, and as an operational superintendent overseeing all enlisted aviators in his squadron during his final deployment to Afghanistan. Dr. Harris has over 13 years of experience as an instructional and educational leader. His educational leadership includes district, regional, and state level experience. His expertise includes strategic leadership, data analysis, risk management, and school safety.
Dr. Harris is a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success through Walden University. He is committed to developing an organization and school where leadership opportunities lead to student empowerment and high academic achievement for the future generation of leaders.
Ginny Janak is the Chief Operation Officer of CLEAR Ed.
Ginny is responsible managing the day-to-day operations of CLEAR Ed. including all partnerships, literacy, and leadership programs.
Ginny holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has served students for over 17 years as an educator, reading interventionist, academic coach, and administrator.
Ginny is a native of the greater San Marcos area. Growing up in Luling, Tx she understands the needs of the community and educational landscape. She has a passion for creating opportunities for both children and educators to positively influence society.
George Helfenstine is the Director of Leadership Initiatives at CLEAR Ed.
George is responsible for driving leadership development and innovative learning opportunities through CLEAR Ed. Leadership in Action Camps and programs.
George has spent 11 years in education developing leadership capacity across a wide range of educational entities. His expertise is focused on facilitating implementation of the Effective Schools Framework, outdoor education, and leadership across all levels. George is a Lead Stem Achievement Specialist in K-12 education.
George holds a bachelor's degree of Science in Education from Miami University with a dual certification in Life Science and Physics. George is a NOLS certified Wilderness First Responder and has a passion for outdoor learning. George draws from his diverse experiences, research, and expertise of leaders and educators around the country to curate opportunities for young leaders in Central Texas.
Todd Armstrong is the Director of Technology and Innovation at CLEAR Ed. Todd believes that technology access is key for future success in a rapidly changing world market. He believes that students must be able to not only access technology but use technology to produce viable solutions that support the community.
Todd holds a degree in computer science. Celebrated as a leader in innovation, Todd has devoted his career to serving youth and providing inspiring technology and challenging course offerings for schools around the globe including Texas, India, and the Dominican Republic.
